I think belated birthday wishes are GREAT!
Don't you think they are the perfect way to say ..... "I'm sorry I forgot, but I made it up to you." Sometimes when it's someones birthday I either forget or just run out of time. That's what happens when I leave everything to the last possible minute. I do that way to often. Belated Wish # 1 I wish you happiness, with the slightest delay, Your birthday has passed, but we can still play. Belated Wish # 2 Don't be upset, since I did not forget, On the way to the party, I got caught in a net! Belated Wish # 3 Happy birthday, I know I'm late, I forgot, I'll be straight. Belated Wish # 4 I hope your wishes did come true, I am late, I had the flu! Haven't you noticed that these belated wishes, are filled with excuses? Well that's what makes them funny.
